Urban Street Photography

I work primarily in black and white, focusing within the urban landscape. I feel that the concrete and asphalt of a city coupled with the elements imparts a cold and lonely feeling that is further accentuated by the tonalities of a black and white photograph. The city is rife with still life's and juxtapositions, waiting to be photographed.

Through depth of field, patterns and shapes, light and shadow, I hope to kindle in the viewer an empathy for the objects or people I photograph, or to view them as a personification of a part of themselves. You can see my inspiration, my pro-active approach to photography and my desire to achieve my goals so investing a little in me will help my photographic career and invest in me capturing new images for us to enjoy.
